where chai
meets churi.
A chai-led Indian cafe with two California lounges. Masala chai on a low flame, hand-pressed sandwiches, wood-fired paneer pizza, pasta and house mocktails — halal options on the menu.

Pull up a chair
We pull every cup of chai by hand, on a low flame — the way it's meant to be. Never rushed, never bitter, always with whole spices ground that morning.
Stay for the chai. Stay longer for the paneer tikka pizza, pink-sauce pasta, grilled sandwiches and ice-cold mocktails coming out of the kitchen.
Two lounges — Tracy & Roseville — serving the Central Valley and greater Sacramento.

From the beginning
अड्डा

The Chai Lounge started with one question: where do you go for a real cup of chai — the kind you'd sip back home over a long conversation? Not a paper cup at a register, but a proper sit, a proper steep, a proper plate of something to share.
So we're building it — two chai-led lounges, on N Central Avenue in Tracy and on Lead Hill Blvd in Roseville, with a kitchen that turns out everything from paneer tikka pizza and grilled Bombay sandwiches to ice-cold blue-lagoon mocktails. Both opening soon. Come for a cup. Stay for the afternoon.
Why Chai Lounge
01
Each pot pulled fresh to order. Never sitting, never bitter, never reheated.
02
Cardamom, clove, fennel, ginger — ground in-house, blended weekly, never from a bag.
03
Thoughtfully sourced proteins and clearly labeled options across the menu.
04
Soft lighting, no rush. Built for a long conversation over a longer cup.
